Pi Network Distributes First KYC Validator Rewards, Launchpad Testing Underway
Pi Network has completed its inaugural KYC validator reward distribution, allocating 26.5 million Pi tokens to qualified participants. Validators who met the March 5 snapshot criteria—processing at least 50 majority-agreed validation tasks—received payments at a rate of 0.0504179 Pi per successful verification, approximately 21 times the base mining rate.
The network's human validation system processed 526 million verifications across 1.09 million validators, enabling 18 million identity confirmations. Future reward rounds are planned, with migrated Pioneers automatically contributing to the validator pool.
Separately, Pi Network's Testnet Launchpad has begun operational testing, preparing users for the Mainnet release. The educational tool demonstrates platform functionality while the community continues debating KYC delays and migration timelines.
